The Shevell Group welcomes Bart Prager, Director of Business Development, June 2008
Bart Prager recently joined Eastern Freight Ways and The Shevell Group of Companies as the Director of Business.
Bart was previously employed by Metropolitan Trucking, Inc. for the past 21 years. He grew up in the Operations side of the business before transitioning to sales 2 years ago. Bart holds a B.S. in History from Brockport State.
Bart has lived in Salisbury Mills, NY for the past 18 years with his wife of 21 years, Ellen and their two daughters Candice and Monica.

Shevell Group Honors Best of the Best Employees for 2007

The Shevell Group announced
the honoring of its employees at the year end sales meeting
held in Newark, NJ in December. The following is the list of
outstanding employees who were recognized from the six
companies that form the Shevell Group.
Nick Manzie - Director of
Loss Prevention was presented the Arlene W.
Shevell Memorial Award recognizing him as the most dedicated
worker in the
NEMF family.
Helene Gnudi - South
Plainfield, received the Jack Teicher Award honoring
her as Account Executive of the Year.
Scott Driscoll - Buffalo, was
presented the Paul Danzak award honoring him
for Outstanding Sales Achievement.
Ed Campbell was honored as
National Account Executive of the Year.
Rose Cirne was presented with
the Mark Jensen Award, honoring her for
administrative excellence.
Terminal of the Year status
was awarded to the Syracuse facility with
Terminal Manager Wade Nesbitt accepting this award.
Best Service Terminal honors
were presented to the Allentown Terminal with
Terminal Manager Dave Hillman accepting this award.
Carrier Industries
2007 Most Valuable Player awards were given to Paul Canavan
of the
Pawtucket Facility and to Ken Briendenhach of the Allentown
Facility.
Karyl Carter, Director of
Finance, received the "Sixth Man" award honoring
her support for the Shevell Group.
Carrier's Pawtucket facility
was also honored as Facility of the Year.
Eastern Freightways
2007 Most Valuable Player award was presented to Lee Brooks.
